October 17, 1986 it was a key date for the Olympic history of the city of Barcelona. In the Swiss city of Lausanne, during the 91st Session of the International Olympic Committee (CIO), its President, Catalan Juan Antonio Samaranch announced the words “… to the city of Barcelona”.
